Job summary

Virgin Australia is seeking a Lead Architect – ServiceNow (internal title: Technical Lead) to shape enterprise workflow platforms within our Infrastructure & Cloud division. You will influence technical direction, assess integrations, and drive solutions from design through production in a hybrid environment.

You’ll bring five+ years on ServiceNow at an architecture level, strong design skills, and familiarity with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

At least five years of senior ServiceNow experience with solution design or architecture responsibility.
Deep ServiceNow expertise is essential for the role.
Experience with the Atlassian suite, especially Jira and Confluence, is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and design oversight across our ServiceNow environment.
Assess proposed solutions, integrations, configurations for feasibility and alignment.
Produce detailed technical designs and guide implementation from design to production.
Establish and champion engineering practices across testing, documentation, automation, reliability and maintainability.
Identify and manage technical debt, dependencies, platform risks and operational constraints.
Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues and remove delivery blockers.
Translate technical risks and options into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
