Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd, a Canberra-based recruitment and services firm, seeks a TSPV/TSPA cleared Lead Security Analyst to drive threat-driven security analytics and SOC operations onsite in ACT/SA. The role requires hands-on capability with Splunk ES, EDR, NDR, and SOAR, and is open to Australian citizens with appropriate clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Security Operations Centre as a Security Analyst.
• Strong hands-on capability with Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Network Detection and Response (NDR).
• Familiarity with Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat-driven cyber security analysis across secure ICT environments.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents and develop response plans and playbooks.
• Assess vulnerabilities and advise on remediation actions.
• Support security testing and provide technical leadership across the team.
