Job summary

The Reject Shop in Melbourne is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Analyst to own SAP Finance and Controlling for the Australian business, aligning local processes with global standards and Canada support.

You will collaborate with finance stakeholders, take hands-on responsibility for analysis and configuration, and help build in-house SAP capability. Flexible working from home may be available; interviews are onsite in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on SAP functional experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO).
• Translate finance requirements into SAP solutions.
• Experience with international teams or complex environments.
• Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Autonomous ownership of functional deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption of SAP Finance and Controlling functionality.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Hands-on SAP FICO analysis, design, configuration, and improvements.
• Collaborate with Canada to align Australian processes with global standards.
• Act as primary SAP FICO functional specialist in Australia.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
• Coordinate with other analysts to ensure SAP-wide dependencies are met.
• Support planning and prioritisation of SAP Finance initiatives.
• Help build in-house SAP capability and reduce external reliance.
• Engage with the Canadian team across time zones; flexible working options.
