Mytra in Brisbane, Australia invites a robotics intern to join the firmware team, contributing to bring-up of firmware components, hardware drivers, and control algorithms to meet product specs. Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in a related field.
Hands-on experience with motor control and sensor integration.
Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded firmware.

Responsibilities

Support firmware bring-up of hardware drivers, communication protocols, and control functions.
Develop and tune motion control for multi-axis robotic systems.
Implement and test control loops for position, velocity, torque, and force.
Contribute to state estimation through sensor fusion and Kalman filtering, in simulation and on hardware.
Collaborate over CAN/NATS/ROS2 to move data between controllers, sensors, and actuators.
Iterate between simulation and hardware testing to improve robustness.
Write clear, maintainable C++ and Python for real-time and high-level software.
