Job summary

Talison Lithium is seeking a senior geologist to lead Mineral Resource estimation and geological modelling for the Greenbushes Lithium Operation. You will ensure resource studies support safe and economical mining decisions, with governance aligned to JORC and Talison standards.

You will work with mine planning, metallurgy, processing and environmental teams to integrate geometallurgical inputs into life-of-mine planning and ore delivery strategies.

Qualifications

• 15 years relevant experience in resource geology, mine geology or exploration geology.
• Significant Mineral Resource estimation experience for lithium/hard rock deposits.
• Strong understanding of the JORC Code, resource classification and public reporting requirements.
• Experience with major geological modelling software (Leapfrog, Datamine, Surpac, Vulcan, Micromine).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Mineral Resource estimation, geological modelling and resource classification for Greenbushes Lithium Operation.
• Maintain geological interpretations, domaining, wireframes and block models.
• Ensure estimates comply with JORC and Talison governance.
• Maintain QA/QC and data governance of geological databases and workflows.
• Lead reconciliation of resource models against mining and processing outcomes.
• Provide inputs to life-of-mine planning, pit optimisation and budgeting.
• Collaborate with mine planning, processing, metallurgy and env teams to integrate geological data.
