Job summary

Talison Lithium seeks an experienced Principal Approvals Specialist to lead environmental and mining approvals for the Greenbushes operation and growth projects. The role reports to the Approvals Manager and coordinates multidisciplinary studies with regulators and stakeholders.

You will shape approvals strategy, mentor teams, and influence senior leadership decisions in a dynamic, global critical minerals operation.

Qualifications

• Experience navigating complex environmental and mining approvals within the resources sector.
• Strong understanding of environmental and mining legislation and approval processes.
• Proven ability to lead approvals programs and advise senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of environmental and mining approvals to support operations and growth.
• Develop and implement approvals strategies for new projects and changes.
• Prepare regulatory submissions and engage regulators and government agencies.
• Provide strategic regulatory advice and influence major decisions.
• Mentor Approvals Specialists and drive improvements across teams.
