Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or leading-hand experience in reinforcement steel or cage fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily reinforcement cage fabrication and production activities
• Leading, allocating and coordinating fabrication staff to meet production targets
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication schedules and specifications
• Ensuring reinforcement cages are fabricated accurately and in accordance with project requirements
• Monitoring production output, quality, labour utilisation and workflow
• Coordinating materials, equipment and resources to minimise production delays
• Identifying and resolving fabrication, quality and production issues
• Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, company procedures and quality standards
• Liaising with project, engineering, logistics and management teams to ensure production schedules are achieved
