Job summary

Ampcontrol is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical power projects from design and offshore manufacturing through installation, commissioning and handover. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, offshore manufacturing and construction, manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks and commercial performance, and ensure delivery is safe, on time and within specification.

Qualifications

• You’re an experienced Project Manager with strong commercial, technical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering complex engineering, electrical, construction or manufacturing projects.
• Strong project planning, budgeting, contract management and risk management capabilities.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management or an electrical trade, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and commercial performance.
• Coordinate engineering, offshore manufacturing, suppliers and procurement activities.
• Oversee equipment testing, logistics, Australian installation and commissioning.
• Manage client relationships, contractors, variations and contractual obligations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, project specifications and documentation requirements.
• Provide project reporting and drive successful delivery and handover.
