Job summary

RCR Services in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial remedial projects from planning through to completion.

You will coordinate crews and subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with estimators and head office support to deliver on time and within budget. Most work is in Adelaide with some regional SA projects.

Qualifications

• At least three years of project management experience in construction or remedial building.
• Trade or construction background with relevant qualifications desirable.
• Working knowledge of the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards.
• Strong leadership, communication and people skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and managing costs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Lead site crews, providing direction and training where needed.
• Coordinate subcontractors and assist with recruiting trades and labour.
• Order materials, raise purchase orders and negotiate with suppliers.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, crews and management.
• Manage changes to scope and resolve issues as they arise.
• Take responsibility for site safety and quality.
• Attend weekly project meetings and maintain weekly financial reports.
