Job summary

Hudson is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead land-side and marine infrastructure initiatives within the Maritime Safety Queensland MAI unit, focusing on SBH master plans. You will drive feasibility, planning and detailed design to construction-readiness, aligning with TMR governance and OnQ methodologies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated substantial experience managing infrastructure projects through planning, design and delivery.
• Proven ability to deliver small-to-medium civil or marine projects, ideally in government or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contract management and financial governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure projects from feasibility through detailed design to handover for construction procurement.
• Develop project scopes, plans, schedules, cost plans and risk registers to suit project size and risk.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, design development and approvals to resolve interfaces.
• Ensure planning, environmental and stakeholder requirements progress through necessary approvals.
• Oversee procurement activities and evaluation of consultant/contractor submissions.
• Maintain schedules and risk registers with proactive risk management and reporting.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, cash flows and monthly reporting.
• Engage with local councils, contractors and internal stakeholders for timely communications.
