Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Project Design Electrical Engineer in Sydney to lead design projects for Fleet Remediation in operational data centers. You will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation and work with data center teams to promote standards and reliability while driving upgrades and new services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years' design experience in mission critical facilities including data centers.

Responsibilities

• Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions.
• Review short circuit coordination studies and maintain models.
• Perform design and equipment submittal review for data centers in your region.
• Interface with internal/external data center design teams, server hardware, EHS, field and controls engineering.
• Work on concurrent projects, sometimes across regions.
• Act as SME for your discipline during remediation projects.
• Support construction, commissioning, operations and turnover.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

8+ cumulative years of design experience in mission critical facilities
