Pelleton Renewables, Inc is seeking a Lead Process Engineer for our Yatala, QLD site. You will lead our process engineering team, own design deliverables from design basis to commissioning, and serve as the senior engineering voice in front of customers as we scale from demonstration to commercial plants.

The role requires extensive experience in process engineering, leadership of engineers, and EPC project exposure, with a background in water, waste, bioenergy, or related chemical processing.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in process engineering.
• Experience leading engineers and project teams.
• Design packages delivered and commissioned on EPC projects.
• Background in water, waste, bioenergy, food, minerals or chemicals; drying/dewatering/solids handling a plus.

We're hiring: Lead Process Engineer – Yatala, QLD

Our patented technology turns wet biowaste into valuable pellets – around 80% volume reduction with 82% less energy and 34% lower CO₂ than thermal drying. It's proven at our fully automated demonstration plant in Yatala, and we're now building our first commercial plants with EPC partners.

We're looking for a senior process engineer to lead our process engineering team and carry it into commercialisation.

What you'll do:

• Lead and develop a growing process engineering team
• Own the design deliverables our customers and EPC partners build on – from design basis to commissioning
• Be the senior engineering voice in front of customers
• Lead the scale-up from demonstration plant to commercial plants

What you bring:

• 8-12+ years in process engineering, incl. leading engineers
• Design packages you delivered that were built and commissioned
• Owner, technology-provider or licensor-side experience on EPC projects
• Water, waste, bioenergy, food, minerals or chemicals background – drying, dewatering or solids handling a plus
