Job summary

Evolve Early Education is seeking an experienced Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to lead our Pre Kindy program in Noosaville, QLD. This permanent part-time role focuses on creating a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment and leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality early education experiences.

You will plan engaging activities, observe and document progress, and maintain strong partnerships with families while meeting regulatory standards and promoting

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent recognised by regulatory body.
• Current Working with Children Check clearance.
• Current First Aid & CPR certified for early childhood settings.
• Experience with pre-kindy aged children in a centre-based setting.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development frameworks.
• Excellent communication with children, families and staff.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team whilst maintaining collaboration.
• Experience with observation, assessment and documentation practices.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and supporting diverse needs.
• Flexibility, resilience and genuine passion for ECEC.
• Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pre Kindy program with planning and engaging learning experiences.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment promoting physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
• Maintain accurate observations and assessments of each child.
• Communicate regularly with families about learning and wellbeing, fostering partnerships.
• Supervise and mentor staff within the Pre Kindy room.
• Ensure duty of care, health, safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure continuity of care and learning.
• Manage transitions and support children's emotional needs during age-group changes.
• Maintain detailed records and regulatory documentation.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and best practice.
