Hitachi Energy Australia Pty Ltd seeks a Lead Project Engineer to oversee complex power generation and transmission projects from concept to commissioning. You will lead technical delivery, develop designs and liaise with clients to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

The role requires 8–10 years in project engineering, strong knowledge of power systems, and PMP-desirable project management skills. Travel to project sites may be required, with a focus on safety and quality."

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 8–10 years of project engineering experience in power generation/transmission/ distribution.
• Proven leadership or senior engineering experience delivering complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of power systems, generation tech, substations, grid infra.
• PM methodologies and tools; PMP certification desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical execution of assigned projects within scope, budget and schedule.
• Develop and review engineering designs, specs and docs; mentor team.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, QA and external stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning.
