Job summary

VicRoads Registration and Licensing Services (RLS) in Melbourne seeks a Lead Product Manager - Core Platform & Services to shape and deliver core platform capabilities supporting the Custom Plates portfolio.

You will own the platform roadmap, drive cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Product, Operations and Government stakeholders, and ensure scalable, robust platform solutions that enable growth and better customer experiences.

Qualifications

Significant experience in product management, platform product management or technology-enabled services.
Experience delivering roadmaps for platform, core service, data or enterprise capabilities.
Strong systems thinking and ability to map complex processes and integrations.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable, sustainable capability solutions.
Experience working across interconnected systems with cross-functional dependencies.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the strategic platform roadmap for the Custom Plates portfolio.
Manage core platform capabilities including pricing, plate availability, fulfilment, inventory and external integrations.
Define platform priorities aligned to commercial objectives and customer needs.
Act as Product Owner for core platform capabilities from discovery to delivery.
Identify opportunities to modernise and simplify systems, processes and integrations.
