Job summary

VicRoads seeks a Lead Product Manager for Core Platform & Services in Melbourne to shape the platform enabling the Custom Plates portfolio. You will own the strategic platform roadmap, drive pricing, registrations, fulfilment, and external integrations while partnering with Technology, Operations and Government stakeholders.

The role demands seasoned product leadership, systems thinking and a track record delivering enterprise-scale platform capabilities across complex regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product management, platform product management, or technology-enabled services.
• Proven roadmapping experience for platform/core service capabilities.
• Strong systems thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the strategic roadmap for platform capabilities supporting the Custom Plates portfolio.
• Manage and optimise core platform capabilities including pricing, rights, plate availability, fulfilment and integrations.
• Define priorities aligned with commercial objectives and customer needs.
• Act as Product Owner for core platform capabilities from discovery to delivery.
• Identify opportunities to modernise and improve systems and processes across VicRoads platforms.
