Job summary

CPB Contractors Pty is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the development and maintenance of integrated programmes across major tunnelling and civil infrastructure works. You will provide schedule leadership, forecast risks, and engage stakeholders to meet delivery milestones on complex projects.

Based in Sydney, you will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities to align with objectives, client expectations and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 8–10 years' experience in planning and project controls on major infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience delivering tunnelling, underground, rail, transport or civil projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills and schedule risk analysis.
• Experience in contractor or joint venture environments on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling for tender and bid phases, baseline programmes and resource forecasts.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, commercial and delivery teams on tender programmes.
• Prepare tender schedules, logistics methodologies and critical path analyses.
• Provide planning input for risk reviews, value engineering and programme optimisation.
• Assess contract requirements to identify programme risks and opportunities.
• Support post-award planning and transition of tender schedules to delivery baselines.
