Job summary

Southern Cross Care is seeking a Level 2 Physiotherapist to drive clinical excellence and mentор Level 1 staff across our Health & Fitness Centre and home care settings. You will manage a complex caseload, deliver assessments and treatment plans, and guide reablement pathways to support older clients in living safely and independently.

Applicants should have a Bachelor or Master in Physiotherapy, current AHPRA registration, at least 3 years’ clinical experience in aged care, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters in Physiotherapy with registration in Australia (AHPRA).
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, including aged care settings.
• Current driver's licence, Senior First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Strong communication; ability to lead, mentor and coach staff.
• Sound knowledge of aged care practices, health promotion and reablement pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead Level 1 Physiotherapists and Remedial Massage Therapists.
• Manage a complex caseload across Health & Fitness Centre and home care settings.
• Provide clinical assessments and treatment plans for older clients.
• Develop and guide reablement strategies for clients’ health pathways.
• Deliver care on-site and in off-site settings as required.
