Job summary

Southern Cross Care invites applications for a Level 2 Physiotherapist within our Health & Fitness team. You will drive clinical excellence, lead Level 1 Physiotherapists and Remedial Massage Therapists, and manage a complex caseload across our facilities and home care, delivering assessments and tailored treatment plans to help older people live safely and independently.

You will work both on-site and off-site, guiding reablement strategies and collaborating with an integrated team to promote

Qualifications

• Bachelor or masters degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, aged care preferred.
• Current driver's licence, Senior First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Strong communication, leadership and coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Level 1 Physiotherapists and Remedial Massage Therapists.
• Manage a complex caseload across Health & Fitness Centre and home care.
• Provide clinical assessments and treatment plans for older adults.

About the role

About you

We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A bachelor or masters degree in Physiotherapy and current, unrestricted registration with AHPRA.

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, including work in aged care settings.

• Current driver's licence, Senior First Aid and CPR certificates.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor and coach staff.

• Sound knowledge of aged care practices, health promotion and reablement pathways.
