Bupa Australia is seeking an experienced Lead Physician to join the Immigration Medical Assessments team at our Parramatta centre. You will lead the panel physician workforce, roster clinicians, and provide clinical guidance to the centre team in a permanent, full-time role.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership and broad clinical experience, with familiarity of immigration regulatory environments, and the ability to drive service delivery in a collaborative, patient-centered

Qualifications

• General Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
• Robust leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, coach and manage clinicians.
• Broad clinical experience.
• Knowledge of legislative and regulatory environments in the Immigration area.

The purpose of this job

Reporting through to the Centre Manager, you will manage the panel physician workforce in your centre, including rostering, providing leadership and coaching and helping our people make the most of their role and their work life! You’ll also act as the link to the national BMVS medical network and provide clinical expertise to the centre manager and centre staff. This role would be ideal for a Senior Resident or Registrar who enjoyed managing clinicians and is keen to develop into a multi-dimensional leadership role.

Our Visa Medical Assessment Centre in Parramatta is seeking an experienced Lead Physician to join our collaborative, close knit team on a permanent, full-time basis.

• Robust leadership qualities and the ability to motivate, coach and manage a diverse range of clinicians.
• Broad clinical experience
• Knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of legislative and regulatory environments in the Immigration area.
• A reputation for effective and timely service delivery and a history of making things happen.
• A detail-orientated but consultative management style
• General Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
