GE HealthCare is seeking a Molecular Imaging Collaboration Scientist to lead external collaborations, driving innovations in PET technology and validating new clinical tools across SPECT. You will translate needs into research plans, develop evidence for product concepts, and publish results with partner sites and internal teams.

You will combine hands-on PET algorithm skills with strong communication to accelerate clinical impact and build robust collaborator networks worldwide.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. in engineering or science field (Electrical, Biomedical, CS, Applied Math or Physics).
• Minimum 4 years in medical imaging, image processing, or related application development.
• Experience in PET imaging technology: reconstruction, corrections, quantitative imaging, post-processing, and software development.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB or similar programming languages.
• Proactive, curious and adaptable; ready for new scientific challenges.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead external collaborations translating needs into research and tools.
• Develop and validate applications of total-body PET; support SPECT translation.
• Partner with scientists, engineers and product leaders to evaluate prototypes.
• Contribute to research algorithms, reconstruction, and quantitative imaging software.
• Provide onsite scientific support and coordinate partner-site investigations.
• Lead publications, conference presentations and patent activity.
• Develop evidence plans and support high‑quality publications.
• Communicate analyses and results to leadership and academic partners.
• Identify needs with collaborators and drive research opportunities.
• Lead execution and governance of external collaborations with PMs.
• Pursue external grants and strategic partnerships.
