Job summary

Celtic Decor in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Lead Painter / Leading Hand to coordinate and deliver day-to-day painting projects across luxury residential and commercial sites. You will lead on-site teams, ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard, and liaise with clients to maintain quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' painting experience.
• Experience in high-end domestic and commercial painting.
• Airless spray experience essential.
• Proficient in spray techniques and airless applications.
• Own tools and reliable vehicle required.
• White Card and WWCC or willingness to obtain.

About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering day-to-day painting projects across residential and commercial sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

The role suits someone who has experience running jobs independently or someone ready to step into a leadership position and grow within the business.

Demonstrated experience in full crew supervision and team leadership is essential for this position.

Essential Requirements

• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle essential
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• White Card required
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
