Job summary

Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service in Rockhampton, Queensland, seeks a Senior Staff Specialist/Staff Specialist in Otolaryngology (ENT Surgery). The role leads ENT services, may involve outreach and telehealth across CQHHS, and includes teaching, research and ongoing professional development.

A MBBS with FRACS (Otolaryngology) or RACS comparability is required, with strong commitment to evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Hold MBBS or equivalent and specialist registration in Otolaryngology (Australia).
• FRACS (Otolaryngology) or evidence of RACS comparability assessment.
• Maintain an ongoing College CME program.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialist ENT care with inpatient, outpatient and theatre services.
• Support patients across CQHHS via outreach and telehealth clinics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient care.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit and service improvement; participate in on-call roster.
