West Moreton Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Senior for outpatient services in Queensland. The role focuses on hand therapy, including traumatic and non-traumatic injuries, post-operative rehab, splint prescription, and upper limb rehabilitation.

The ideal candidate will independently manage a complex caseload, communicate effectively within teams, and contribute to outcomes reporting to drive service improvement.

Qualifications

• Experienced in occupational therapy services with hand injuries and rehabilitation.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team to influence outcomes.
• Able to independently manage a complex clinical caseload.
• Capable of monitoring and reporting clinical practices and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage traumatic and non-traumatic hand injuries and rehabilitation caseloads.
• Prescribe and fabricate splints; provide upper limb rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve local service delivery.
• Monitor and report on clinical work practices to support service improvement.
