Job summary

Metro North Health is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist (Hand Therapy) for a temporary part‑time role. The position provides high level clinical expertise in Hand Therapy and leadership across the Caboolture, Kilcoy and Woodford Directorate, supporting a team of OTs, students and Allied Health Assistants.

You will lead Hand Therapy services, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and supervise less experienced therapists to ensure best patient care across outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Lead the delivery of hand therapy services within Occupational Therapy.
• Provide high level clinical advice in Hand Therapy to health practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Lead hand therapy service delivery across Caboolture Hospital.
• Communicate proactively with health professionals, patients and families to optimise outcomes.
• Provide supervision and competency development for OT practitioners in Hand Therapy.
