Job summary

Jem Health is seeking an Area Manager to lead our Occupational Health Assessors and Technicians and support the day-to-day running of our clinics across the East Coast (NSW, VIC and SA).

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role blends team leadership, clinic coordination and hands-on occupational health work. You will guide the team, manage rosters, and assist with results and administration as needed.

Qualifications

• Health or medical qualifications with registration; RN preferred.
• Experience in people leadership and performance management.
• Experience rostering and coordinating clinic activities.
• Admin/medical administration experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach OHA staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Manage rosters, leave, and coverage to meet demand.
• Coordinate onboarding and training with the Training & Onboarding Coordinator.
• Support recruitment and ensure registrations are current.
• Maintain clinic readiness including stock, equipment, safety.
• Conduct occupational health appointments as needed.
• Assist with results processing and quality checks.
• Support admin with inquiries and bookings.
• Identify improvements to clinic operations and service quality.
