Job summary

Centorrino Technologies in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement and support secure enterprise network and cyber security solutions. You will lead deployment of SASE, SD-WAN, and NAC technologies with emphasis on zero-trust principles, threat detection and incident response.

The role is a 6‑month contract, offering hybrid work and opportunities for hands-on innovation, architecture reviews and collaboration with security stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a senior network engineer in complex environments.
• Hands-on in designing and supporting SASE and SD-WAN architectures.
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response and network segmentation.
• Familiarity with NAC solutions (FortiNAC preferred).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching and cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise SASE and SD-WAN solutions.
• Develop and maintain secure network architectures aligned with standards.
• Provide technical leadership across network transformation and security initiatives.
• Support and optimise SIEM and SOAR platforms for monitoring and response.
• Develop use cases and playbooks to improve threat detection and response.
• Maintain NAC solutions and Zero Trust access controls.
