Lead Modular Builds Supervisor

Job summary

Fleetwood Australia is seeking an experienced Building Supervisor at our Para Hills facility in Adelaide to lead factory teams delivering high-quality modular builds safely and on schedule.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will oversee employees, subcontractors and contractors across multiple builds, coordinating labour, materials and services to maintain workflow and quality while meeting safety and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification or at least five years' trade experience.
• Supervisory experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and understand project planning.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, regulations and construction techniques.
• Current WA driver’s licence and White Card.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Modular building experience and forklift licence is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor employees and contractors to achieve performance targets and KPIs.
• Coordinate multiple builds through to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Plan labour, materials, contractors and services to maintain an efficient production workflow.
• Monitor work practices, team performance, contractor performance and areas requiring rework.
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Projects, Scheduling and other departments.
• Coordinate quality inspections and ensure current drawings and job requirements are communicated.
• Maintain safe systems of work and ensure WHSEQ procedures are followed.
• Contribute to production planning, reporting, continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
