Job summary
PLS is seeking a Senior Metallurgical Engineer to lead metallurgical study work for the Colina lithium project and Pilgangoora improvements. You will own study development from scoping through feasibility, and work with external engineering houses to optimise flowsheets and test programs.
Based in West Perth, you will partner with site and project teams to ensure practical, safe, and cost-efficient outcomes, delivering high-quality technical reports and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Metallurgical, Chemical or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in mineral processing studies and plant design across project phases.
- Experience managing metallurgical test work programs and interpreting data for process design.
Responsibilities
- Lead metallurgical study delivery from scoping to feasibility and detailed engineering.
- Develop and optimise process flowsheets and test work programs.
- Coordinate metallurgical test work across internal teams and external labs.
- Analyse data to identify improvements, costs and performance gains.
- Interface with external engineering houses to ensure quality and schedule.
- Support metallurgical standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
