Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Manager, Medical Accreditation and Training (Health Manager Level 3) for the Sydney Local Health District. The role focuses on leading the Medical Training and Accreditation Initiative, ensuring sustainable systems for accreditation across all programs and specialties with strong clinician and executive engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing services in complex healthcare environments.
• Extensive knowledge of medical workforce governance and management, especially training and accreditation.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication with ability to prepare reports for Boards and health policy environments.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the Medical Training and Accreditation Initiative across SLHD.
• Develop procedures, standards, tools and resources for medical accreditation and training.
• Liaise with Specialist Medical Colleges, the Ministry of Health and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
