Job summary

Aggreko in Cloncurry is seeking a Project Mechanical Supervisor to lead mechanical construction for renewable energy projects including thermal, BESS, wind, solar, and hybrid systems.

You will manage plans, schedules and resources, coordinate with engineering and procurement, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

A hands-on leader with 5+ years in renewable energy mechanical supervision is preferred; a 2:1 roster is part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as mechanical supervisor or similar in renewables.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods for renewable energy infra.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction activities for renewables (thermal, BESS, wind, solar, hybrid) from mobilisation to commissioning.
• Develop construction plans, schedules and allocate resources to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project management teams for seamless execution.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and on-site personnel to ensure productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
