Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Senior Maritime Structural Engineer based in Brisbane to join our Ports, Marine & Coastal team. You will lead marine structural and port engineering projects across Australia, building bespoke solutions for complex maritime environments and guiding multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with clients on defence shipyards, port infrastructure and green-energy projects, while mentoring developing engineers and shaping design

Qualifications

Experience in marine, maritime or port infrastructure.
Ability to lead projects from concept through execution.
Strong communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Mentor and develop junior engineers within a team.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver marine structural and port engineering projects across the project lifecycle.
Develop practical, bespoke structural solutions for complex maritime environments.
Work on defence shipyards, port infrastructure, container terminals and sustaining-capital programs.
Contribute to green-energy export, offshore wind and public/m recreational maritime projects.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
Clearly communicate complex structural concepts to clients and stakeholders.
