Job summary

MTYU - Stones Corner is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a modern excavator and ancillary maintenance team in the Blackwater/Bowen Basin. The role features an 8/6 roster with DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane, and a permanent, full-time path within a leading mining contractor.

You will bring strong experience in mining maintenance, Liebherr excavators, and a proven ability to coach a team, plan planned and reactive work, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in mining
• Strong knowledge of excavator and ancillary equipment maintenance
• Liebherr excavator experience is highly regarded
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a maintenance team
• Experience coordinating planned and reactive maintenance
• Strong safety, communication and problem-solving skills
• A focus on equipment reliability, quality and continuous improvement
• Strong planning, decision-making and organisational skills
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Relevant mechanical trade qualification is highly regarded
