Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the excavator fleet in the Bowen Basin region. You will report to the Customer Support Manager, manage maintenance and warranty activities, and lead critical projects while coordinating with customers and subcontractors.

The role requires supervisory experience, a background in mobile equipment projects, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supervisory or Project Management roles.
• Mining industry experience with mobile equipment is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines independently.
• Commitment to safety leadership and quality assurance.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate and execute maintenance and warranty activities in line with schedules and budgets.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure safety, specifications and budget compliance.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams to meet project objectives.
• Ensure all activities comply with Hitachi specifications and company standards.
• Oversee on-site trades personnel and coordinate resources for efficiency.
• Manage project administration, reporting and documentation requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture and high quality standards across activities.
