Pyramid Hill College in Victoria invites applications for classroom teachers classified into Range 1 and Range 2. The role focuses on planning, preparation and teaching to achieve specific student outcomes and supports ongoing professional learning.

Range 2 teachers will mentor others, supervise student teachers, use data to inform instruction, and contribute to school policies. Range 1 teachers work under guidance to develop skills and deliver programs and may supervise student teachers.

Qualifications

• Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching is required.
• LANTITE literacy and numeracy requirements must be demonstrated for ITE graduates.
• Eligibility criteria for transfer or promotion in the principal or teacher class include professional registration and standards.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions; and supervision of student teachers.
