Gator's Dockside Melbourne is looking for an experienced line cook to join our kitchen team. You will support guest satisfaction and restaurant growth by following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and working under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have basic written and verbal communication skills and be able to operate a KDS system in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork, multitasking, and adherence to food safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauce
• Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
• Ability to navigate a KDS system
• Able to work under pressure
• Ability to complete all opening and closing duties
