Job summary

Autobahn Mechanical and Electrical Services Banksia Grove and Mindarie is seeking an experienced 2IC / Senior Automotive Mechanic to join our teams at Banksia Grove and Mindarie. This role offers a well-equipped workshop and opportunities to lead a team of technicians.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of light vehicle experience, a Full Australian Manual Licence and a recognised Australian Level Trade qualification, with AC/MR licences as an advantage. Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Light Vehicle Mechanic with at least 5 years experience.
• Full Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
• Australian Level Trade qualification (must have).
• AC and MR Licences are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance to other mechanics.
• Providing support and assistance to store manager.
• Alternating Saturdays running the workshop with the manager.
• Answering phone calls and providing customer assistance as necessary.
• Carry out service and repairs on all makes and models.
• Diagnose vehicle faults.
• Follow correct procedures and guidelines.
