Job summary

Acenda Life is seeking a Lead Case Consultant to coach a team of Claims Consultants and provide technical expertise in managing complex life insurance claims. You will support the team, contribute to reporting, process improvements and special projects, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality customer outcomes.

The role emphasizes coaching, regulatory compliance, and effective claims management in a dynamic, hybrid environment across Australia.

Qualifications

• Extensive life insurance claims experience and knowledge of legislation.
• Experience coaching and guiding others in a claims environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise, coaching and day-to-day guidance to Claims Consultants.
• Support management of complex claims and customer matters.
• Promote quality outcomes through collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Assist in monitoring team performance, workflow and priorities.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver positive customer outcomes.
• Contribute to handling complaints, escalations and regulatory matters.
