Job summary

The City of Adelaide is seeking a Leading Hand, Irrigation to manage and enhance the city’s park lands, gardens and streetscapes. You will lead a hands-on team, plan and schedule work, operate specialised horticultural equipment, and coordinate irrigation for events to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Amenity Horticulture (Cert III or higher).
• Cold Water Plumbers Ticket.
• Ability to read Amenity/Horticultural/Irrigation drawings and specifications.
• Experience leading horticultural work teams.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team and support development through training and supervision.
• Plan and schedule work and operate horticultural equipment.
• Coordinate irrigation systems for events.
