Job summary

Sydney Metro is seeking an experienced project delivery risk leader to oversee risk across major infrastructure delivery packages. You will provide strategic risk leadership to Project Directors, delivery teams and senior executives, and ensure risk insights drive decision making.

The role is a fixed term full-time assignment until 30 March 2028 based in Sydney, NSW. You will lead quantitative risk assessments, manage contingency positions and integrate risk information with project controls,

Qualifications

• Experience leading risk management on large infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative risk methods and contingency handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead project and program risk management across major delivery packages.
• Provide strategic risk leadership to Project Directors and executives.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment and mitigation workshops with teams.
• Lead QCRA and QSRA analyses and challenge risk assumptions.
• Develop and maintain project risk registers and governance.
• Integrate risk with cost, schedule and controls.
• Mentor and develop risk practitioners.
