Job summary

Minerals 260 Limited is seeking a practical Health & Safety Superintendent for the Bullabulling Gold Project. You will lead day-to-day H&S and Emergency Services, oversee MSMS elements, and drive risk controls as the project moves from construction into operations.

You will coordinate health surveillance, incident investigations and contractor assurance, while shaping HSE strategy, budgets and readiness for handover. FIFO from Perth or residential in the Goldfields is expected.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of H&S experience in mining or major projects.
• Three+ years in a Superintendent or leadership role.
• Experience with emergency response teams.
• Strong knowledge of WA WHS requirements and MSMS.
• ICAM Lead Investigator training or equivalent.
• Strong technical writing and budgeting experience.
• Understanding of SSE statutory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day H&S leadership and oversee Emergency Services teams.
• Lead MSMS development, management plans and procedures; monitor compliance.
• Direct risk assessments, verify controls, investigate incidents and high-potential events.
• Lead Emergency Services, maintain plans, drills and response capability.
• Coordinate health surveillance, fitness for work and return-to-work processes with HR.
• Oversee contractor assurance, interface risks between construction, commissioning and operations.
• Report on incidents and trends, track actions to close-out.
• Prepare for operational readiness, including commissioning safety and handover.
• Lead workforce planning, rostering and induction.
• Manage budgets and service provider performance.
