Job summary

Mini Masterminds Hamlyn Terrace is opening soon and building a team from the ground up. We seek passionate early childhood professionals for a brand-new 120-place centre, including Room Leaders (ECT or Dip) and Diploma Educators, with opportunities for growth and leadership.

You will help shape the centre culture, design engaging learning environments and build strong relationships with children, families and the local community. Applicants must have valid Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current Child Protection training/certificate
• Strong knowledge of EYLF & NQS
• Leadership experience preferred for Room Leader roles

Responsibilities

• Lead rooms and support your team to provide high-quality education and care
• Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families
• Mentor and support educators within your room
• Observe and document children’s learning and development
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Work with Educational Leader and wider leadership team
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS and relevant legislation
