Job summary

Moreton Bay Regional Council in Narangba is seeking a Crew Leader to lead maintenance across parks, gardens and open spaces, supervising a Parks Labourer and coordinating a designated run to keep assets safe and presentable. You will deliver routine tasks including mowing, mulching, pruning and operating plant and equipment, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to high standards.

A MR truck licence, relevant horticulture qualifications, and progression through the Crew Leader

Qualifications

• Experience in parks, horticulture or landscape maintenance.
• Ability to lead on site and coordinate day-to-day activities.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and presentation standards.
• Experience operating plant and equipment such as mowers and brush cutters.

Responsibilities

• Mow parks, nature strips and open spaces.
• Mulch and weed, prune and plant.
• Brush cut and hedge maintenance.
• Spray and remove debris and litter.
• Drive a truck and trailer; operate equipment.
• Coordinate daily work activities and manage records in Council systems.
