Job summary

Infosys in Melbourne is seeking a Lead Workday Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits). You will support BAU and implementation projects, configure business processes, and develop reports while ensuring security governance.

The role requires 10–12 years of IT experience and at least 6+ years in Workday HCM, plus a Bachelor's degree. Hybrid work in Melbourne with a competitive AUD salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of overall IT experience.
• 6+ years of Workday HCM experience across HR modules (Core HR, Payroll, Time tracking, Benefits, Absence).
• Experience with BP configurations, security, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Gather, understand, and analyze requirements with the business and prototype configurations.
• Configure BP changes, supervisory organizations, locations, and related HR processes; perform unit testing.
• Manage Workday major release analysis, testing, and deployment coordination with business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and implement them within Workday.

Role Description:

We are seeking Workday Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll & Time tracking, Absence, Benefits etc.) As a Lead Functional Consultant, you will support different modules of Workday on both BAU and Implementation Projects. You will be responsible for Business Process Configurations, Reporting, Testing and document design workbooks etc.

You will be involved in leading support and project activities related to Workday Application Maintenance, Transition, validating requirements with product offerings, and working with relevant stakeholders for product customization requests. You will play an important role in creating the security strategy, execution and maintenance in support of the Workday HCM application.

Salary: AUD 150,742 - 171215 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business to gather, understand, and analyze requirements. Demonstrate configurations using prototyping. Unit testing the processes. Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions.
• Experience in BP Configurations (BP Changes, Sup Org, Locations, etc.), Troubleshooting Data issues / Corrections, Workday Reporting and Analytics and Security configs and changes.
• Manage and run Workday Major release update feature analysis, testing and coordination with business for deployment
• Ability to identify Improvement opportunities for business and implement

Technical Expertise & Federal SAP Requirements

• At least 10-12 years of overall IT experience
• 6+ years of relevant experience in Workday HCM domain, particularly in Workday Functional Configuration across key HR Modules (Core HR, Payroll & Time tracking, Recruitment, Benefits, Absence etc.) across Implementation / Support / Development projects
• Should have good experience with Basic and advanced security. Should have basic technical knowledge.
• Experience managing medium-sized team would be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
