Job summary

PMFresh Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to oversee daily operations on the production floor. You will lead a hands-on team, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Team Leader role within food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of food safety principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a production team to achieve daily production targets.
• Coordinate labour and workflow to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
• Ensure production starts on time and breaks are managed in accordance with requirements.
• Monitor product quality and ensure all products meet specifications.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, allergen, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
• Complete production documentation accurately, including downtime, quality, and safety records.
• Identify production issues and escalate equipment or operational concerns promptly.
• Support on-the-job training, coaching, and development of team members.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready work environment.
• Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example in safe work practices.
