Daracon is seeking a Leading Hand Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join the Beresfield team. You will lead a team of mechanics and apprentices, coordinate workshop activities, and diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults to support safe, efficient fleet maintenance.

Formación

• Experience leading a team of qualified mechanics.
• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a team of mechanics and apprentices, ensuring all vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Coordinate daily workshop activities, allocate jobs and monitor workflow to maximise productivity and minimise vehicle downtime.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, providing technical guidance and support to workshop personnel.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company procedures and relevant industry standards, maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed work, manage parts and service requirements, and liaise with supervisors, operators and external suppliers to ensure effective fleet maintenance outcomes.
