The role involves signing off performance-based fire engineering reports, ensuring NCC and WA regulatory compliance, and mentoring the project team while liaising with authorities and clients.

Qualifications

• Chartered Professional Engineer with WA knowledge and CPEng status.
• Experience delivering performance-based fire engineering solutions.
• Ability to review and sign off fire engineering reports.
• Strong knowledge of WA regulations and DFES requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of fire safety engineering projects across WA.
• Prepare, review and sign off performance-based fire engineering reports.
• Develop practical fire engineering solutions for complex buildings.
• Liaise with DFES, approval authorities, clients and project stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership to the wider team.
• Ensure projects comply with the NCC, Australian Standards and WA requirements.
• Manage projects from initial consultation through to final approval.
• Maintain strong relationships with government and private-sector clients.
