Job summary

Mpower is seeking a Family Services Practitioner (Lead) in Warrnambool to provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a team while continuing to deliver casework and in-home support to families. The role fosters family-centred practice and strengthens parenting confidence across culturally diverse communities.

The position allows flexibility to work from different Mpower sites with a focus on quality outcomes and compliance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry

Qualifications

• Diploma of Community Services as a minimum qualification.
• Experience in leadership, facilitating and coaching staff to improve practice and outcomes for families.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a team of Family Services Practitioners.
• Deliver casework and in-home support to families facing challenges.
• Develop tailored support plans and strengthen parenting confidence.
• Collaborate with the Coordinator Family Services on quality practice development.
