Job summary

Morson Edge Australia seeks an experienced Registered Architect/Facade Lead to own complex façade, roof and building envelope packages for major projects in Australia. You will lead development, coordination and delivery, with strong detailing, documentation and client liaison skills.

The role requires 5–10 years of architectural experience, a Master’s degree in Architecture, and proficiency in Revit/BIM. Rhino/Grasshopper knowledge is valued for advanced modelling and coordination.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional architectural experience
• Master's degree in Architecture
• Australian Architectural Registration preferred or working towards registration
• Strong experience across façade, roof and/or building envelope packages
• Strong technical documentation and detailing skills
• Excellent knowledge of Revit and BIM
• Experience with Rhino; Grasshopper highly regarded
• Good understanding of the NCC and Australian façade standards
• Confident communicating with clients, consultants and project teams
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
• Ability to lead a significant architectural package within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, coordination and delivery of façade and roof packages
• Develop and review architectural details, drawings and documentation
• Coordinate façade and roof interfaces with structure, services, waterproofing and other disciplines
• Work closely with architects, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers
• Maintain design intent while ensuring solutions are practical, coordinated and buildable
• Review consultant and specialist information
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues
• Attend design reviews, workshops and coordination meetings
• Take ownership of package delivery, quality and project timelines
