Job summary

IAG is seeking an Enterprise Cyber Security Architect to define the strategic direction for cloud and infrastructure security across Australia and New Zealand. You will establish target-state architectures and roadmaps to guide technology investment, working with delivery, engineering and operations to ensure practical and sustainable security outcomes.

You will influence senior stakeholders, balance risk with business outcomes and drive secure-by-default practices while enabling innovation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading cyber security architecture in large enterprises.
• Practical understanding of cloud and infrastructure security in production.
• Ability to translate security requirements into target-state architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define cyber security architecture strategy and multi-year roadmaps for cloud/infrastructure security.
• Guide transformation programs with architectural direction for secure delivery.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and engineering teams to align security with business goals.
• Identify risks, gaps and debt; propose practical, implementable solutions.
• Balance security with resilience, cost and operability in real-world environments.
• Create reusable architecture patterns and standards for secure-by-design practices.
• Remain connected to engineering/operational practices to inform decisions.
